Chris McChesney
Chris McChesney is the Global Practice Leader of Execution at FranklinCovey Co. and a key architect behind The 4 Disciplines of Execution. Over the past 15 years, he has led the continuous design, development, and global expansion of these principles. His leadership has not only advanced the methodology but also propelled the growth of FranklinCovey’s consulting organization across numerous countries, impacting hundreds of organizations worldwide. Chris has personally overseen many high-profile implementations, allowing him to test and refine the 4 Disciplines in diverse environments—from the boardroom to the front lines. With more than two decades of experience at FranklinCovey, Chris began his journey working closely with Dr. Stephen R. Covey, the renowned author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Throughout his career, Chris has taken on various roles, including consultant, managing director, and general manager, each of which has shaped his deep understanding of execution in business. He initially launched the first 4 Disciplines of Execution Practice in FranklinCovey’s Southeast Region, where it quickly gained traction before expanding internationally. Despite the program’s global growth, Chris has stayed focused on one essential goal: helping organizations consistently achieve breakthrough results through improved execution and operational discipline, no matter the industry or scale.
