Wonho Chung
Wonho Chung is a South Korean comedian, television personality, and multilingual entertainer celebrated for bridging cultures through humor and media. Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and raised in Amman, Jordan, to a South Korean father and Vietnamese mother, Wonho grew up immersed in both East Asian and Arab cultures. Fluent in five languages, including native Arabic and English, he seamlessly connects with audiences across diverse regions.
Wonho’s comedy career took off in 2007 when he toured with the Axis of Evil comedy tour, making him one of the first comedians to perform stand-up in Arabic. His engaging personality soon led him to host red-carpet events at major film festivals, such as the Dubai International Film Festival and the Doha Tribeca Film Festival, where he interviewed global icons like Amitabh Bachchan, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Mira Nair. As a Goodwill Ambassador for Korean tourism since 2010, he promotes cultural exchange through his unique perspective.
